Here it is at the high school shop. This is around the fifth day of sanding the car to bare metal. About 5 layers of paint and primer were sanded down before the metal showed.
Finally its down to metal. The sanding took 2 months alone. You can also see the replacement door in grey paint, not yet sanded. You can also see some of the patch panels we started to put in.
The first primer stage. This was a water proof sealer that was non-sandable. Next was a regular sandable grey primer, followed up by another coat of black sealer, then paint.
Here is a pic of the interior before I did some work to it. I drove it with that stupid dice instead of a "T" handle for 2 years.
